For 78 years, the Kirkland Lions Club has brought Northern Illinois the region's premier Independence Day celebration. Three days of live music, carnival rides, a spectacular fireworks show, community contests, a parade, food, and family fun — all right here in Kirkland.

Every dollar raised supports local scholarships, food pantries, vision and hearing programs, and dozens of other community causes.

Cash preferred at the festival. No pets allowed — service animals only.
